I am a PhD researcher at the European University Institute in Florence, where I previously obtained an MRes in political science.
My PhD dissertation focuses on liberal neutrality and toleration and is supervised by Rainer Baubock (EUI) and Alan Patten (Princeton University). Its overarching question is under what conditions (if any) liberal states may burden peaceable comprehensive doctrines of citizens and non-citizen residents.
Before coming to Florence, I read philosophy at the University of St Andrews (MPhil) and King’s College London (MA). I also hold a degree in Arts and Culture from Maastricht University (BA).
During Fall 2015, I will be visiting the politics department at Princeton University. I have previously been a visiting research student at Warwick’s politics and international studies (PAIS) department.
